A bit of catch up ........I am so bad at this!!!

Ok so again I am a bit behind on updating this thing!! I need to set myself a reminder :) Well anyway, I will just post some pic's and tell a little about what's been happening in our lives.

Belle has been growing up so fast in the last few months. Especially in the area of boys, her and her friends are always talking about what boys are "hot" and which ones aren't, who can sing and who can't and who is dating who....I don't even know how they know these things!! She is loving being on summer vacation but was really sad to leave her teacher behind, she really loved her 3rd grade teacher but is excited to think she may get to have her again in 5th grade since she has moved to now teaching that. As always she is busy with gymnastics but seems to just love it more and more as we go along, every time she learns something new or gets a trick down she is so excited and she can be seen always doing handstands and such around the house.

Teryn was also sad to leave her preschool class but is way excited to get to go to her "sissy's" school this year. I am hoping she can get into the all day kindergarten class so I can work during the day and not have to worry about a babysitter. As hard as it is to see my kids both be in school this year it will be nice to be home everynight with my family.

The girls have had so much fun already this summer even though it has really just begun. We have done lots of swimming and playing in the water in the back yard. Yesterday the girls gave the dog a bath in the back yard and it was very fun to watch!!

Well, I will once again tell you that I will try to do better and post again next week...and as always we shall see if that actually happens!!!

All about Belle

Ok, so it's obviously been a month since I last posted. But all I can say is life has been busy. IsaBelle turned 9 in April, her friends came over on her birthday to help us celebrate and we did so with a Rock Star Party. It turned out so cute!! The girls had such a fun time and so did I :)



The Saturday after Belle's birthday she had her first gymnastics meet. She was very nervous and didn't want to go but afterwards she said she loved it. She did an awesome job and I am so proud of her!!











That Sunday we had another party with our family and some of our friends, the house was packed but we had a blast!

Well, I know this is short but I thought I would post and get back into the groove of things!!

Spring Break and Easter

Ok, so I have been pretty bad at this for a few weeks. But here we go again....

This last week was pretty fun. The girls were on Spring Break wednesday through monday (yesterday). We didn't really get to go do anything fun because the weather was so bad. Belle was very upset about the snow and every time she looked out the window she would make a "humph" sound....it was very amusing. Dustin came home on Friday and the girls, especially Teryn, couldn't get enough of him. She kept jumping on him, and fighting him and always had to be sitting with him.

We had lots of fun Friday night going to Jacob's, my little brother,surprise party. Teryn was very nervous about the party, she kept asking me if we had to hide in the dark at the church because the church is really big and if we hide we may get lost, and then after Jake arrived she kept laughing in a really high pitched voice.

Saturday Dustin helped the girls to paint some Easter eggs and they even made Mom one while I was working. He also took the girls to go see the movie "How To Train Your Dragon" and basically I don't need to go see it now because the girls gave me the highlights of the movie....many times :)

Easter was really fun for us. The girls loved their Easter Baskets, they got a Zhu Zhu pet and some accessories for them and some candy. Belle told me that her I couldn't possibly be the Easter Bunny because I would never give them that much candy. In the afternoon we hid eggs around the house for the girls, because again, the weather was bad on Sunday. Teryn found twice as many eggs as Belle and she was so proud of herself for that (Belle on the other hand was not impressed). Grandma and Grandpa "Grape" came for Easter dinner and so did Aunt Sandy and the girls loved helping mom get dinner ready and set the table for dinner. Later that night they got to go to Aunt Pat's house for a sleepover...and when I picked them up Belle told me she was so glad I was her Mom and gave me a huge a hug...those are the best moments :)

March 14-20 2010

This week turned out to be really fun for us. At Gymnastics Belle was able to master a new trick and was So Excited!! She learned to do a back walkover :) So all of this week she has been doing tricks all around the house and in the yard, and has even made up a fun gymnastics dance with her friend McKenna at school.

Teryn was excited to get to go back to school this week after being sick...she loves to make crafts and they have done a lot of that this week. Her favorite was making this nest...SO CUTE!!


Saturday we attended a primary activity and the girls had a blast running around the gym together...

Saturday afternoon we went to see "Alice in Wonderland" and we all really enjoyed it.

Saturday evening we went to see our cousins Johnathan and Tatiana in a play at their school and during intermission Teryn decided she would entertain everyone on the stage.

Sunday night we had some family over for dinner, Aunt Pat,Johnathan and Tatiana, we had lots of fun playing games together.

Dustin has a little of a week left in Georgia and we are all really excited to have him come home!!!

Last week started off as most weeks do. Monday went as normal with Dustin going to work and school, the kids going to school and me going to school and work. But then Tuesday came...I had to go to school and then the doctor so Dustin took a few hours off work to take care of the kids for me. Well between school and the doctor I came home and found out Teryn had a fever so we took her temp and it was 102.8. I gave her some Tylenol to reduce the fever and then I headed to the doctor (this was at 8am). When I got home Teryn was sleeping on the couch, so I let her sleep and Dustin headed to work. At about 10:30am I decided to wake up Teryn and take her temp (keep in mind Teryn has never slept this long even when she has been sick before...to this point she had slept 12 hours at night and two more hours on the couch), I figured her temp would have gone down by now since she had tylenol. Well I was wrong....her temp had gone up to 103.5. I freaked out!! I always freak out when the kids get hurt or are sick. So, I called Dustin in a panic and then I called the doctor. I took Teryn to the doctor and they gave her two times the normal dose of Motrin to get her fever down and then they did a bunch of tests and couldn't figure out the problem. Two hours later we left the Dr. and I had a perscription for some med's that were for a bunch of things they thought might be wrong. Well, by the next day she was normal again...but I kept her home for the week because the Doc said too.....in the end I am guessing and hoping it was just from all the shots she had the week before to get ready for school next year.



Now that was just Tuesday, the rest of the week went by much smoother. On Wednesday I took IsaBelle to Disney on Ice and my friend Bonnie and kids ended up buying tickets and going that night too. And when we got there we found out our friend Tasha and her kids were there....GO FIGURE :) Teryn was sad she couldn't go but I told her we would go see a movie of her choice next week.


On Thursday we all took Dustin to the airport at 7:00am. He is going to be in Georgia at Jump school until April 1st. As he got out of the car he told the girls Daddy going to go loose his legs and earn his wings.....well Teryn took this very seriously and was very worried that

why are the army men cut off daddy's legs and put wings on his back, and when he has wings on his back he won't fit in his bed so where will he sleep!!!

On Friday I completely spaced that I had school and remembered about 9:30am which only left about 20 min of class. Ooops!! But the rest of the day went really well. Belle also brought home her report card this week and had 3 A's and 2 B's!! GO BELLE GO!! She on the path to a better school career then her mother....thank goodness!!

Saturday the girls went to the Saint Patrick's Day Parade with my brother Scott. Scott was nice enough to take them since I remembered to go to school that morning. They went so they could watch Aunt Aly (Matt's wife) dance in the parade. Well, after they saw her they left because Teryn was having a ...lets call it an "off" morning.

Well that was the hightlights of our week :) Some good, some bad but all around pretty ok. I hope this isn't too borning to read but I like the idea of having somewhere to remember all of our coming and goings. I hope everyone is doing great and I hope to see everyone soon!!

Hello!! I decided it would be a good idea to blog things that happen with my family because I really don't record things any other way....so hopefully I will remember to update this weekly at least so I have somewhere to save our family going-ons and a place to share it will all our family who isn't close to us :)
